The much-awaited sequel to The Talos Principle, The Talos Principle 2, has been officially announced and is set to release in 2023. This highly anticipated game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The sequel promises to augment the experience of the original game, introducing more complex puzzles, new mechanics, a deeper storyline, and an abundance of secrets to uncover in Croteam’s most extensive and unconventional world yet.
In The Talos Principle 2, players are thrust into a new world where biological humanity has gone extinct, and human culture endures in a city of robots. The players find themselves immersed in a mind-bending adventure, unraveling the secrets of a mysterious megastructure possessing immense power. The game poses philosophical quandaries regarding the cosmos’ nature and the purpose of civilization as the players’ discoveries grow. Choices made by the players, including their stances on the promise of a better future, the fear of repeating humankind’s errors, faith in reason, or the renouncement of humanity, will shape the storyline.
