Fortnite Unveils Styx as the June 2023 Crew Pack Skin
Styx is the new skin for the June 2023 Crew Pack in Fortnite. The Crew Pack is scheduled to launch for all active Fortnite Crew subscribers around 8 PM ET on May 31, 2023, offering a new set of features and gameplay elements.
Styx, the key highlight of the June Crew Pack, is designed with an innovative twist. The inner darkness of the character expands as players attack enemies throughout a match. The more foes engaged, the more this darkness grows within the game’s time frame, bringing an intriguing edge to the gameplay. For players preferring a less reactive approach, this feature can be toggled off in the Locker.
Additionally, Styx is not alone in carrying this enigmatic darkness. The June Crew Pack also introduces the Stygian Maw Back Bling with an “emissive” option that releases the dark malevolence contained within. The Stitch’d Slicer Pickaxe completes the set, leaving a ghastly trail with every swing, thereby elevating the gaming experience.
It’s worth noting that the Photonic Legacy Set’s Stage 1 can be unlocked until 8 PM ET on May 31, 2023. Fortnite Crew subscribers are rewarded with an opportunity to unlock up to six total Stages of the Photonic Legacy Set for each month of active subscription. After the immediate unlocking of Stage 1 with the subscription, subsequent Stages become accessible concurrently with the receipt of the monthly Crew Pack, marking the end of each month at 8 PM EDT/7 PM EST.
The Photonic Legacy Set encompasses the evolving Photonic Striker Pickaxe. The initial stage hands players the Pickaxe, and Stages 2 to 5 unlock alternate Styles for the tool. The final Stage 6 introduces color customization options for the Pickaxe, bringing an added layer of personalization for the subscribers.
Another critical aspect of the Fortnite Crew subscription is the instant access to the Battle Royale Season’s Battle Pass. This means that subscribers are automatically entitled to the Battle Pass of the current season. If players have already purchased a Season’s Battle Pass before subscribing within the same season, their accounts will be credited with a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks.
Looking forward, the launch of Fortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 3 in June will bring more exciting elements for subscribers. All active subscribers during that Season will be granted automatic access to its Battle Pass, thus further enhancing the value of their subscription.
